Empowering the Future of Lacrosse in Peru
Hi, I’m Abby Pollak, and lacrosse has been a big part of my life since 7th grade. Now, as one of the youngest players on the Peruvian National Women’s Lacrosse Team, I’m proud to represent my heritage internationally. Beyond playing, I’m dedicated to growing the sport in Peru and South America by running clinics, donating equipment, and mentoring young players. I hope to inspire girls like me to fall in love with lacrosse and help build a strong future for the sport in our communities. Join me on this journey!
My mission
My mission is to support USA Lacrosse’s efforts to expand the sport internationally and inspire young girls in my beautiful heritage country of Peru to embrace lacrosse.
Equipment for future peruvian players
I am committed to making lacrosse more accessible to girls in Peru by collecting gently used and new lacrosse sticks in the U.S. These sticks are then shipped to Peru, where they are distributed to young players eager to learn the game. In my clinics, participants will not only receive equipment but also develop the skills needed to grow as players and explore future opportunities in the sport.
